Context and organizational background
SESI has been dedicated for 70 years to improving working conditions and promoting workers' health in the industry. Operating in 26 states and the Federal District, we follow standardized methodologies to meet legal requirements, offering a broad portfolio of products in Health and Safety at Work (SST) and health promotion, executed by qualified professionals.
The Superintendence of Health and Safety in Industry (SSI) is seeking professionals to work as specialists (analysts) on projects related to a technical cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health. The agreement involves activities across 7 public policy projects focused on workers' health and work environment, including climate emergencies, data interoperability, physical and mental health promotion, immunization schedules, disease training, digital care lines, and arbovirosis data collection and analysis. The duration of this agreement is 24 months.
Responsibilities and duties
Develop studies related to environmental health issues, products, and services.
Conduct training sessions and presentations.
Assist in implementing an integrated SMS program.
Qualifications and requirements
Educational background
Complete undergraduate degree preferably in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or civil engineering.
Postgraduate degree in occupational safety engineering and environmental engineering.
Professional experience
Experience with climate change projects and implementation of environmental management, safety, health, and environmental management systems (SMS).
Experience in industrial companies implementing pollution prevention programs.
Ability to identify and evaluate environmental aspects and impacts.
Experience in reducing environmental impact.
Developing emergency plans for industry and surrounding communities.
Specific knowledge
Agile methodology.
Environmental aspects and impacts assessment software.
SST software.
Power BI.
Microsoft Office suite.
Additional desirable skills
Intermediate English proficiency.
Additional information
Employment contract for a fixed term - CLT - 2 years.
On-site work at CNI office in Brasília/DF.
Working hours from 9 am to 6 pm, 40 hours per week, with a bank of hours.
