Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Podcast Audio Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing podcast audio files to enhance sound quality, implement sound design, and add music. Your goal will be to ensure overall quality control for each episode.
The Podcast Audio Editor will work closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and meet deadlines efficiently. Key responsibilities include editing raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes, removing filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents, improving pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent, restructuring sections when needed based on how questions were answered, and delivering clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
Additionally, you will produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use and support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested.
