Director of Advanced Analytics
About the Role:
* This position oversees the strategic direction, development, and deployment of AI-driven initiatives and data products.
Key Responsibilities:
This role leads a team in creating scalable data pipelines, implementing machine learning models for student audience analysis, and developing AI-enabled career advising solutions. The Director will also work closely with stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into actionable data product features.
The key areas of focus include:
1. Data Science Strategy and Team Leadership
o Manage a team of data scientists and engineers, directing the creation and maintenance of robust, scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions.
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data science strategies that drive institutional effectiveness.
2. Advanced Model and Algorithm Development
o Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for complex student audience analysis and AI-enabled career advising.
o Oversee the utilization of advanced machine learning techniques, including predictive modeling, recommendation systems, and natural language processing.
3. Data Product Development
o Closely collaborate with product managers to translate strategic requirements into data product features.
o Implement and manage MLOps and CI/CD workflows for efficient model and data product deployments.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, strong technical expertise in machine learning and data engineering, and experience working with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they should have a deep understanding of data governance, quality, and integrity across all analytical solutions.
