Opportunity – Data Engineer (Senior) | Brazil | Remote

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global project supporting a leading multinational company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, building scalable data solutions that support decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives.
What you will be doing:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models
* Work across data lake environments, Snowflake, and Hive-based architectures
* Support analytics, reporting, and business performance monitoring
* Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders
* Enable data infrastructure for machine learning and AI initiatives
* Contribute to the development of data products and applications (including Streamlit and chatbot-based solutions)
* Help evolve the data and ML ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovation
What we are looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms
* Strong experience with SQL and Python
* Hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark
* Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
* Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
* Experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms
* Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse solutions)
* Strong knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance
* Experience with Git / version control
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements
* Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Fluent English (mandatory)
Nice to have:
* Experience with data lake / hybrid data environments
* Experience supporting ML pipelines or AI initiatives
* Exposure to Streamlit, data apps, or chatbots
* Experience in global / cross-functional environments
