**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts.
**
**2.
General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
**
**3.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements.
**
**4.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, providing detailed analysis as needed.
**
**5.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing insights to management.
**
**6.
Payroll Processing: Handle payroll processing, including the calculation of salaries, taxes, and other deductions.
**
**7.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
**
**8.
Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
**
**9.
Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
**
**10.
ERP and Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for efficient financial management.
Experience with Q360 or Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.

**11.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in the accounting department and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
**
**Qualifications**:
**1.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
**
**2.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Experience in a controller role is a plus.
**
**3.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
**

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
**
**5.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
**
**6.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
**
**7.
Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
**
**8.
Remote Work: Experience working remotely and self-motivation to maintain productivity in a remote setting.
**
**Preferred Qualifications**:
**1.
Certifications: CPA or other relevant accounting certifications are a plus.
**
**2.
ERP Experience: Prior experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., Q360, Microsoft Great Plains) is highly desirable.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Systems Integration financial practices and regulations.
