Sun IP is seeking a skilled Patent Paralegal Project Coordinator to oversee and manage patent filing requests.
This full-time, remote position involves coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
You will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of documents required in connection with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Proactive initiation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordination of filings for EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring of assigned cases to ensure timely compliance with deadlines.
For this role, you must have 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities are essential, as well as significant experience managing complex projects.
A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows, working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus), and defining processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
Pacific Standard Time (United States time zone) working hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm PST. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, as you will be working with English-speaking teammates and clients.
