Overview
In the role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.
Location: Brazil
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to the customers’ and business users’ requirements.
* Estimate complexity and workload in collaboration with Product Owners and other stakeholders.
* Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet user requirements.
* Support the LIMS in collaboration with other team members.
* Work together with Engineers/QA to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
* Ensure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
* 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferable). Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms is a bonus.
* 4+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
* Strong working knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
* Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11g or later)
* Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
* Clear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architects
* Some experience in test driven development and test automation
* Comfortable in unit testing and mocking with Delphi
* Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Education
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
