Job Title: Commercial Account Manager
This is a key role that involves managing and growing existing customer accounts, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing account plans to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing customer accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
4. Conduct regular account reviews and provide insightful business reviews to customers.
5. Work closely with other departments (including pre-sales, product, legal, and marketing) to support customer success.
Sales and Revenue:
1. Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets.
2. Drive client retention, renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
3. Negotiate and close deals effectively.
4. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and customer onboarding.
5. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the software industry.
2. Experience with long sales cycles, request for proposals, and public tenders.
3. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and enterprise IT environments.
4. Experience with open source software, API management, and IAM technologies.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
7. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
