Job Description
Responsibilities:
Managing the company's operational safety policy, supporting all areas so that the requirements related to the policy are met and implemented.
Managing the systems, programs and processes defined by the Brazilian aeronautical authorities and by AIRBUS itself, which involve operational safety.
Manage the processes defined in the Operational Safety Management System, as well as its manual and related programs.
Coordinating the operational safety processes, supporting the areas responsible, so that there is active participation that leads to improvements with the implementation of these processes, as well as managing the data collected from the safety programs, so that the indicators can demonstrate to senior management the performance of the respective processes.
Ensuring the monitoring and control of occurrences, incidents, accidents, non-conformities and recommendations from CENIPA and ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), enabling corrective, preventive and predictive actions to be taken.
Keeping the Aeronautical Emergency Response Plan up to date, coordinating the means and resources for its activation and effective response.
Manage the means for implementing the safety plan, including the formation, training, development and optimization of the workforce, guiding the activities and adopting the necessary procedures to meet the company's objectives with the safety standards and deadlines established, in a position to meet the estimated demand.
When qualified as a helicopter pilot and authorized by Flight Test Management, the Safety Advisor may also:
* Give ground, flight, simulator and exam instruction.
* Take part in production, maintenance and transfer flights.
Remain up-to-date and qualified in the Airbus Helicopters aircraft types for which they are assigned to carry out flight activities, meeting the requirements of Airbus Helicopters/Helibras, as well as the Brazilian aeronautical authorities.
Represent Helibras at meetings, symposiums, seminars, meetings and lectures, being able to speak on relevant topics of interest to the company.
Instill in his/her team the spirit of process improvement, safety and technological development, supporting research, development and innovation initiatives related to the sector under his/her leadership.
Requirements
Internal candidates, pay attention to the Golden Rule.
Completed degree in Aeronautical Sciences, Engineering or Operational Safety.
Postgraduate degree in Safety Systems, Project Management or People Management desirable.
Solid experience in operational activities.
Knowledge of aviation processes and systems.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to your activity.
SGSO and/or Flight Safety course.
Valid PLH (Airline Transport Pilot), INVH (Flight Instructor), IFRH (Instrument Flying) and CMA (Aeronautical Medical Certificate) qualifications (Desirable).
Proficiency in Portuguese (verbal, writing and reading).
Advanced English (will be assessed at interview).
Spanish and/or French desirable.
