Senior Financial Analyst Role SummaryThe FP&A Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A and month-end close activities across the Products FP&A team. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability to deadlines. Reporting to the Manager of Products FP&A, the analyst will be a key contributor across the broader FP&A organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and headcount analysisPerform headcount reconciliation and reportingManage department expenses, including PO approval and trackingBuild and maintain financial models (Excel: intermediate to advanced)Populate dashboards and KPI tools for data-driven decision-makingMonitor KPIs and analyze performance trends and driversParticipate in monthly and quarterly close; prepare entries and reconciliationsSupport global forecasting and budgeting for headcount and operational expensesConduct monthly variance analysis to ensure expenses are planned and justifiedPrepare financial reporting for business partners (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)Perform margin analysis and automate manual reports in Excel and HyperionProvide general support for ad hoc projects and reporting requestsCollaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teamsOperate independently in a remote-first environment with proactive communication QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred but not required)Experience: 4–7+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, P&L modeling, and monthly closeStrong preference for experience supporting R&D, Engineering, or Product teamsExperience in multi-national, dynamic business environmentsTechnical Skills:Advanced Excel modeling and automationERP systems (Oracle required), Hyperion reportingMicrosoft Office (Word, PowerPoint; Excel: intermediate to advanced)Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritizationClear communicator with ability to present data simply and effectivelyTeam-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working cross-functionallyAble to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMaintains confidentiality with sensitive financial data
