The HR operations manager owns the execution and continuous improvement of HR operations across the full team member lifecycle — from onboarding through offboarding. This is a hands-on role that blends operational leadership, systems ownership, and process discipline. You will work closely with the Director of Global HR, HR Specialists, and cross-functional partners to ensure HR systems, workflows, and documentation operate smoothly and consistently across countries. This role is centered on building, operating, and continuously elevating a high-performing HR engine, with a strong commitment to operational excellence and ongoing improvement every day. Must haves 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on HR operations Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) Location: Ukraine, Poland, Romania Experience working in technology, IT, consulting, or service-based environments Proven success building, running, and improving HR processes that scale with company growth Hands-on experience managing HR operations for a multi-country workforce Strong experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob preferred) and modern productivity tools Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and related collaboration tools Exceptional attention to detail and operational discipline Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions in a fast-paced, distributed environment Nice to have Experience supporting distributed, multi-country teams Familiarity with SOC2, ISO, or similar compliance environments Experience using AI or automation to improve HR workflows, reporting, or efficiency Prior people management or team-lead experience Experience working alongside people / ER or HRBP roles Exposure to B2B, outsourcing, or billable team models Key responsibilities HR operations & lifecycle management HR systems & tools ownership Own and administer HRIS systems (HiBob or comparable platforms) as the system of record Configure workflows, task lists, permissions, and reporting in HR systems Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date team member data Partner with internal teams to integrate HR tools with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and other productivity systems Compliance & operational risk Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, internal policies, and HR controls across geographies Own HR-related audit readiness and evidence gathering (including SOC2-related controls where applicable) Maintain HR documentation, SOPs, and policy acknowledgements Adapt policies and practices to meet regional needs while maintaining consistency Manager enablement (process-focused) Provide managers with clear guidance on HR processes, timelines, and required documentation Act as the primary owner of HR operational questions and requests Escalate judgment-based or sensitive employee relations matters to the director of global HR HR team support & execution Support, mentor and coordinate the work of HR Specialist or other team members as it relates to HR operational tasks Prioritize operational work, ensure follow-through, and reduce single points of failure Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency using existing tools and AI-enabled workflows What this role is not This role does not own employee relations judgment, PIPs, or conflict mediation This role does not serve as a people partner or HR business partner Strategic people decisions and leadership coaching sit with the Director of Global HR
