Tools We Use:
* As a technology software consulting company, we use many tools, but the big four are Google Drive, Slack, Lucid Chart, and Salesforce, of course.

About You:
* You’ve led enough Mulesoft implementations to know where projects get stuck—and how to keep them moving.
* You understand how Salesforce fits into the integration landscape, but your expertise is in Mulesoft and API-led architecture.
* You’re comfortable working alongside Sales teams in co-sell motions—helping shape deals and scoping solutions that set projects up for success.
* You're confident taking ownership of scoping responsibilities in Mulesoft-led sales opportunities, ensuring alignment between vision and execution.
* You’re proficient in English and are able to collaborate closely with our North American clients and team members.
* You’re confident leading technical discussions and helping non-technical stakeholders see the big picture without drowning them in jargon.
* You take pride in clean, scalable designs and know how to build integrations that perform under real-world conditions.
* You enjoy mentoring teammates, raising the technical bar, and sharing what you’ve learned to help the team grow.
Responsibilities:
The pillars of being a successful Mulesoft Solution Architect at Kelley Austin are:
* Design and deliver robust Mulesoft integration architectures connecting Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue Cloud) and other enterprise systems.
* Partner with Sales during pre-sales and co-sell engagements—contribute technical expertise to shape proposals, scope projects accurately, and set clear delivery expectations.
* Lead technical discovery sessions, map business processes, and define API specifications and reusable assets.
* Provide hands-on technical leadership:
review code, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure solutions meet high standards for performance, security, and maintainability.
* Coach and guide consultants on API-led principles, data transformation, and operational best practices.
* Stay current with Mulesoft advancements and adjacent technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 5+ years designing enterprise integrations, with at least 3 years architecting on Mulesoft Anypoint Platform
* Proven experience in pre-sales and co-sell engagements with enterprise clients
* Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, reusable asset design, and operational concerns (scalability, monitoring, error handling)
* Hands-on expertise with API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave, CloudHub, and MUnit (test-driven development)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Git) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
* Mulesoft Certified Platform Architect and/or Integration Architect highly preferred
