Document Strategist
We are seeking a Document Strategist to lead our documentation efforts. This role involves developing documentation that serves the needs of our product's users, embracing the principles of effective documentation.
A successful Document Strategist will have a broad impact on - and responsibility for - the quality of the user experience with our product, and will contribute towards the long-term success of the project itself.
* Create and maintain software documentation that meets the needs of users.
* Work closely with engineering team members to develop effective documentation strategies.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the company to establish documentation as a first-class engineering discipline.
* Participate in development of product strategy and contribute to user experience design.
Requirements:
* Cares deeply about clear written communication.
* Has a record of community engagement in open-source software, documentation, research or other disciplines.
* Is familiar with Linux, working on the command line, application deployment, system operations, and infrastructure management.
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Holds a BSc/BA degree or equivalent.
