WANTED: Head of Commercial for Bertling Brazil
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial to join our team in Brazil.

The successful applicant will be involved with:
Represent Bertling Brazil externally to clients, industry stakeholders, and partners with professionalism and integrity.
Act as a senior figure within the local business, collaborating with the Country Managing Director on strategic priorities.
Champion and role‑model Bertling’s values, standards, and sustainability commitments.
Develop, update, and sustain a targeted sales concept and business development plan in line with Bertling’s strategic priorities.
Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive local sales strategy, fully aligned with global and regional objectives.
Identify and pursue high‑value project logistics opportunities in Brazil, particularly in the mining, oil & gas, renewables, and power sectors.
Research market trends, major capital projects, and key decision‑makers to build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.
Drive revenue growth across target sectors including mining, oil & gas, renewables, and infrastructure.
Lead key client negotiations, support tenders, and commercial opportunities.
Senior‑level experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries with a strong commercial track record.
Deep knowledge of the Brazilian industrial landscape, particularly in sectors such as mining, energy, and large‑scale infrastructure.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire commercial teams in a multi‑office or multi‑national context.
Strong understanding of commercial risk management, proposal development, and contract structuring.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Portuguese and English.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to build bridges across regions, offices, and cultures.
Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting platforms, and group governance structures.
The successful applicant will have/be:
Experience minimum of 10 years
Advanced English
Portuguese Fluent
Knowledge of Brazilian Customs regulation
