Regulatory Research Specialist
This fully remote role focuses on researching and tracking global trade regulations —primarily across LATAM and North America—and contributing insights that help keep systems up to date for clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of professional experience in tax, global trade, or international regulatory research. A strong knowledge of SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems, familiarity with international trade laws and frameworks (EAR, ITAR, EU Dual Use, WCO, etc.), and excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills are required.
