The Sales Manager – Brazil
This role is responsible for leading the sales management and execution across the Brazilian territory, driving sustainable growth and market share expansion through both direct and indirect go‑to‑market approaches. It focuses on achieving revenue and order targets, ensuring strong customer relationships, and developing a high‑performing sales team aligned with Leica Biosystems’ strategy and Danaher’s core values.
This position reports to the General Manager – Latin America and is part of the Leica Biosystems Latin America organization. The role is remote‑based, with regular travel across Brazil and occasional international travel.
This position reports to the LATAM General Manager and is part of the commercial team, located in São Paulo city and working remotely to cover the national territory.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute the sales strategy to achieve annual revenue and orders targets for Brazil.
Manage direct and indirect sales channels, including distributors and partners, ensuring alignment with Leica Biosystems standards and commercial goals.
Develop and implement go‑to‑market plans and business development initiatives to expand market penetration across pathology, histology, and advanced diagnostics segments.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Service, Operations, and Customer Care to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and institutional accounts (public and private).
Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and business intelligence reporting. Support pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and tender management processes.
Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement aligned with Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Biomedical Science, or related field.
MBA or postgraduate degree in Business or Marketing is a plus.

Essential Requirements

Strong sales experience in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Diagnostics industry, preferably within capital equipment and consumables. Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles, distributors, and large accounts.
Experience leading teams and driving sales execution in both public and private healthcare markets. Strong understanding of tendering processes, procurement regulations, and contract management.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market trends and translate data into actionable strategies.
High energy, resilience, and self‑motivation to thrive in a dynamic and matrixed environment.
Willingness to travel across Brazil and occasionally abroad (up to 65%).

Preferred Competencies

Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen.
Customer focus and results orientation.
Leadership and talent development capabilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with the Danaher Business System (DBS) principles is an advantage.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage and/or for company meetings (locally and internationally).

Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
