About the Role
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our digital systems. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks for all employees.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). They will also possess excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, as well as the ability to communicate solutions clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks for all employees.
* Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms.
* Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools.
* Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
* Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
* Conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments.
* Support cybersecurity initiatives, including employee security awareness training and incident response.
* Document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices.
* Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement new tools that enhance productivity and security.
