Lead SAP Technical Cutover Initiative
As a seasoned SAP Technical Cutover Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the execution of technical SAP localization and deployment tasks throughout the project lifecycle. This encompasses ensuring technical landscape readiness, completing remaining SAP build configuration and development activities, and localizing SAP S/4HANA according to regional requirements in Asia.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including project managers, functional leads, technical platform leads, SAP developers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, milestones, and specific deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and document traceability between technical requirements, business requirements, completion of deliverables that meet requirements, testing activities, and defect resolution through go-live and into hypercare.
2. Provide leadership and mentorship to other cutover business and technical team members, adhering to SAP S/4HANA cutover best practices and standards.
3. Track and report technical cutover preparation and progress, risks, actions, issues, and decisions to project leadership via various communication channels.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP technical cutover management, with at least 5 years in a technical cutover or related technical leadership role is required. Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, BW) and their integration points is necessary.
Prior hands-on experience with SAP configuration, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical defects is essential for managing all technical activities of other technical cutover resources.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with prior projects involving successful cutover to go-live with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable. Familiarity with Agile and hybrid waterfall and Agile project methodologies is also preferred.
