Position open to México and Argentina, Work from Home.As a Senior UX Designer, your primary focus is early stage UX work: understanding complex problems, uncovering user and business needs, and shaping product direction before solutions are defined. You will lead discovery efforts, define experience strategy, and partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure we are solving the right problems in the healthcare space. This role emphasizes research, sensemaking, systems thinking, and experience definition. Your impact will be measured by clarity, alignment, and the quality of decisions enabled by your work.
Duties And Responsibilities
Discovery, Research & Strategy
Lead end to end discovery efforts using research, interviews, workshops, and systems mapping to uncover user needs, constraints, and opportunities
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear problem statements, opportunity areas, and experience principles
Translate research findings into business, product, and customer needs, aligning teams around a shared understanding
Partner with Product to define experience strategy, balancing near-term delivery with long term vision
Experience Definition & Ideation
Own early stage ideation from kickoff through validated concepts
Define user journeys, flows, mental models, and workflows that scale across products and teams
Design at the concept and structure level (flows, wireframes, prototypes) to explore and test ideas quickly
Design for multiproduct ecosystems, ensuring cohesion and consistency across experiences
Collaboration & Influence
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape problem framing, scope, and success metrics
Present work with a strong rationale, using research and data to influence decisions and secure stakeholder buy‑in
Communicates early and often—flagging risks, constraints, and dependencies; setting expectations; and constructively challenging assumptions to protect user outcomes and delivery quality. Maintains consistent, proactive communication with UX management to surface risks, resource impacts, or decision needs before they become blockers
Align cross functional partners around user needs, tradeoffs, and priorities
Delivery Support (Not UIFirst)
Respond to customer feedback and product roadmaps with thoughtful, testable prototypes, not just final designs
Create clear, annotated UX artifacts that support development handoff, even when UI execution is shared with others
Participate in SAFE agile processes while advocating for discovery driven ways of working
Leadership & Advocacy
Mentor designers and teammates in design thinking, discovery methods, and user centered problem solving
Act as a User Advocate, running effective interviews to understand goals, motivations, and real-world constraints
Serve as an Accessibility Advocate, ensuring experiences meet ADA and WCAG standards from the earliest stages
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience as a UX Designer working on agile product teams
Strong early stage UX expertise: comfortable leading discovery, framing problems, and defining experience direction with minimal oversight
Proven ability to turn ambiguity into clarity through research, synthesis, and structured thinking
Experience shaping UX strategy that connects near-term execution with long-term product vision
Excellent facilitation and communication skills; able to tailor narratives for PMs, Engineers, and Executives
Strong time and project management skills in fastmoving, cross functional environments
Demonstrated ability to iterate based on evidence, research, and feedback, not personal preference
Accessibility first mindset with experience delivering WCAG AAcompliant experiences
Desired Skills And Qualifications
Experience with Figma, FigJam/Miro, and research synthesis tools
Generative AI for Design Exploration. Uses AI‑powered tools such as Figma Make and Miro AI to accelerate early‑stage design exploration and prototyping
Generative AI for UX Research & Strategy. Leverages Gen AI for research summaries, synthesis, sense‑making, and ideation to improve speed and quality of early‑stage UX decisions
Healthcare, enterprise, or complex workflow experience
