Volvo Trucks Latin America (VTLA) Sales Area is responsible for sales of trucks, parts and connected services in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina. For other countries in Latin America, Volvo Truck delivers trucks through private importers. VTLA have embraced the lean mentality, through VPS (Volvo Production System), as a systematic approach to gain the competitive edge by placing the customer at the center of our processes, improving our profitability by eliminating waste and harnessing the will and skill of our teams to find ever better ways of working cross-functionally. VTLA has 201 dealers and workshops, and in 2019 VTLA delivered a total of 22 412 trucks.

Data and analytics combined with artificial intelligence will be critical to long term performance of our business enabling proactive responses to the business cycles. Automation, artificial intelligence, visualization and dashboard capabilities are essential to improve productivity, eliminate waste through VPS, and deliver improved performance.
**Purpose of the job**:
Develop complex models and algorithms that inspire innovation and performance throughout the organization. Conduct advanced analytics to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.
- Create value-added intelligence from the operational point of view taking advantage of VPS tools and mindset to help diagnose performance shifts from sales & service organization.
- Generation and sharing of findings and standardized reports connected to strategic and operational objectives.
- Be the one interface to IT organization when it comes to data and data quality and automation, attending business requirements, improving automation and aligning with VTLA strategies while driving the BI and Data warehousing roadmap, aligned with Digital & IT organization.
- Identifying what is available on the external market as well as within the internal Volvo Group organizations to assess how we can better utilize and evolve Analytics/Advanced Analytics/AI within VTLA.
- Drive VTLA from opportunities to implemented solutions, through our team, satellite resources and potential collaborating partners.
- Brake down a common backlog with your experiences and knowledge in Advanced Analytics/BI to be able to go from theory to implementation, together with the team.
- Lead a small team of data analysts and scientists to deliver productivity through advanced reporting and business intelligence technologies using the VPS tools to identify and prioritize opportunities.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Develop strong network with leaders across the organization to understand key business needs and find a way to deliver on the vision.
- Responsible for the data-to-information (knowledge) transformation - critically evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general business understanding.
- Manage overall coordination of business intelligence activities across sales & service functions and support all processes by facilitating and prioritizing BI needs.
- Act as the one point of contact and governance (Product Owner) for IT development related to advanced analytics and business intelligence for VTLA.
- Represent VTLA organization in global forums at VOLVO Group that are driving BI & Analytics.
- Conduct trainings and information sessions across all sales & service organizations in markets as well as support functions aiming to improve and enable the organization to use data and reporting platforms
- Cultivate a high-performance team environment developing a lean and data driven mind-set mentoring the organization in the needed competence shift across VTLA.

You have a passion for Analytics and Data Science, with previous experiences working in Agile set ups. You are curious and interested in evolving data within sales and service areas and motivated to improve productivity and business value as main goal of your work.
