Job Overview:We are seeking a passionate senior software engineer to develop solutions for our mission critical services supporting WatchGuard's firewall and security products. You will be responsible for updating systems already in operation as well as developing brand new applications. As a senior developer, you'll help define responsibilities for the rest of your team and review the work of junior developers. If you are looking for a challenge, like to solve problems, have your opinion matter and can get stuff done, then we want to meet you.What you'll be doing:Design, develop, debug, and deliver successful software solutions that support WatchGuard's productsDevelop resilient applications and services that can withstand multiple failuresBuild solutions quickly while maintaining a high level of quality and reliabilityBuild maintainable software products individually as well as collaborativelyCollaborate with other engineers in system design, architectural and code reviewsInvestigate, analyze and make recommendations regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modificationsPartner with cross functional teams in IT Ops, Engineering, Product, Sales, Technical Support, and QAWhat you need to bring to the table:BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required8+ years proven software engineering experience5+ years of experiences working with Microsoft solution stack as developer including .Net, C#, MSSQL, PowerShell, Windows operating system, Windows serverMust have proven experience with object-oriented programmingMust have proven experience with .NET/.NET Core platform: C#, ASP.NET/Core, MVC.Experience with MS SQL database design and developmentExperience using WCF, REST, XML, JSONExperience with Azure/AWS cloudExperience with AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, HelmExperience with agile methodologies, lean, build processes, and CITeam player who has strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffectively communicate with other engineers and program managersDiscipline and craftsmanship in your workPossess a positive attitude and be personableBe innovative, Proactive self-starter and always want to learn more
