Confidential Posting – Vice President of Finance
Position Summary:
A dynamic and growth-oriented organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead key accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Cash Application, Vendor Billbacks, and general ledger integrity. This executive-level role is responsible for developing and maintaining efficient transactional processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and driving performance through metrics and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial operations, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to collaborate across departments. This role involves high-level interaction with senior leadership and requires exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Position is based out of Bethlehem, PA, corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range financial modeling.
* Partner with business leaders to align financial goals with operational plans and drive informed decision-making across the organization.
* Manage and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, training, goal setting, and performance management.
* Design and implement systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
* Prepare and deliver internal and external financial reporting packages, including board-level presentations.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader organizational objectives.
* Oversee month-end close, operational reporting, audit preparation, and budget/forecast support.
* Develop and standardize company-wide financial policies, controls, and best practices.
* Partner with the CFO and executive team to evaluate growth opportunities, cost management strategies, and capital investments
* Serve as a key liaison for internal and external audits.
* Provide strategic support to senior finance leadership on special projects and process improvements.
* Foster a culture of safety and compliance across all finance operations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including prior leadership in a VP-level role.
* CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word; experience with large ERP systems and AS400 is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
