Sustainable Urban Expertise: Driving Regional Development
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead short-term assignments on EIB priorities under our framework contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable urban development and regional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing urban planning strategies to promote climate-neutral economies and environmental sustainability
* Providing expertise in transition-oriented development, carbon-neutral cities, land use and transport integration, and sustainable urban mobility plans
* Collaborating with stakeholders to promote smart cities, eco-districts, and brownfield regeneration initiatives
* Identifying opportunities for cultural heritage preservation and promotion within the context of integrated urban/regional development
* Supporting territorial governance mechanisms and partnerships to drive just transition plans and assessments
Requirements:
* At least 10 years of experience in regional and urban development, urban buildings and social infrastructure, economic development, and disaster risk management
* Proven track record of working on EU, EIB, and WB-financed projects
* Mastery of relevant skills and qualifications, including a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
