Strategic Business Developer
The role entails forming strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify and pursue meaningful business opportunities. These connections will be established with technology company decision makers, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals.
* Develop and manage a pipeline of business prospects through Salesforce CRM and create market maps to build robust relationships in assigned technology industry verticals.
* Meet and exceed monthly targets for meaningful connections and other measurable business development KPIs.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively with leadership to qualify business opportunities efficiently.
* Ensure the lead database is accurately allocated within portfolio verticals.
* Effectively qualify opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for business unit managers.
This position requires:
* At least 3+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales or client-facing roles.
* A clear interest in developing long-term relationships with prospects.
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals.
