**About the team**:
As a member of the Content Music team, you will be part of the development of TikTok's local Music content strategy. Specifically, you will support the overall content strategy for the vertical locally, manage the portfolio of our top creator and partner relationships and their business agreements. You will be both external facing, representing the company at key events and partner engagements, and internal, as you drive many cross-functional initiatives, interfacing with TikTok's Product, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Comms, and Legal teams to develop business strategies, inform product planning, and operationalize our efforts to grow the Music content vertical on the platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the music pool strategy, focusing on developing activations to increase core metrics;
- Lead the implementation by working side by side with the Creator Team to better develop music creators/talents to deliver high-quality content;
- Use data by working side by side with the BI team to guide Music Partnership Managers on the demands of the platform. Responsible for operational tools;
- Create and manage initiatives from TikTok to help increase Music Talent's presence on the platform;
- Collaborate closely with artists to develop artists' education on the platform through workshops about TikTok and its ecosystem;
- Development of the strategy for proprietary content and exclusive TikTok in-app strategies;
- Collaborate on proprietary music initiatives in the platform around original content for big moments, such as Pride, Black Consciousness, and Brazilian holidays;
- Responsible for Viral tracking and identification and viral tracking strategy implementation.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years experience in music or creators-related roles, (digital preferred), comprehensive understanding of the music industry, and creator market;

- Experience with artist relations and relationship building to establish connections with artist networks to encourage the growth of the product’s music portfolio.
- Understanding the video streaming scenario and have the capability of creating/managing original content.
- Advanced thinking. Good understanding of the social media and content platform environment, able to follow new trends and also identify potential new ones.
- Nose for new artists and potential new hits.
- Ease of intercommunication and public speaking.
- Strong organizational analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and the capacity to collaborate across functions.
- Love music. Internet. TikTok.

**Even Better If**:

- Experience working with international partners at different time zones
- Understanding of the landscape and new developments in new media, tech, and/or millennials brands
- Experience working in a fast-changing, hands-on work environment
