Job Summary:
Logistics Supervisor
A logistics supervisor is a professional responsible for managing the daily operations of a fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics, leadership skills, and knowledge of transportation systems. Additionally, they should be proficient in Excel and have experience in negotiations and freight contracting.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of drivers to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Overseeing fleet maintenance checklists to prevent any issues with vehicles.
* Achieving goals set by the PGOL program and monitoring fleet tracking.
* Defining delivery routes to optimize efficiency and reducing costs.
* Acting as technical representative for registered vehicles and managing vehicle documentation.
* Handling document transfers and updates, including fines and insurance claims.
* Preparing lead time reports and overseeing operational processes.
* Monitoring material transit and controlling internal and travel vehicle flow.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as Logistics Supervisor or similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Administration, or related fields.
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Experience in negotiations and freight contracting.
* Advanced Excel skills.
