Position Overview:
We're looking for a Video Editor & Content Strategist to own the end-to-end editing process for direct response and brand marketing video content. You'll be hands-on with execution while also collaborating on content strategy, platform optimization, and creative ideation. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social video and knows how to make content convert — with speed and intention.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit 5–15 short-form videos weekly for social and paid channels (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc.).
* Collaborate in brainstorms with the CEO and strategist to shape creative direction.
* Execute platform-optimized edits, transitions, and hooks that drive engagement.
* Manage and iterate on SOPs and templates to improve efficiency.
* Provide feedback on what's working and recommend content experiments.
* Ensure fast turnarounds and strong creative quality control.
* Maintain clear, responsive communication with the internal team.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience editing short-form, social-first video content.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
* Strong portfolio of high-performing content across TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
* Strategic mindset — not just a technician, but a creative partner.
* Experience collaborating in cross-functional or remote teams.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken) — minimum C1 / 70 Sagan English score.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with direct response or performance marketing content.
* Background in storytelling, creative direction, or content strategy.
* Familiarity with A/B testing or analytics-driven creative iteration.
* Experience contributing to or maintaining SOPs/templates in a team setting.
