Overview of the role
We are seeking an Analyst to join the Commercial Insights & Analytics team at Flutter Brazil. As the hub of innovation and cutting‑edge reporting within the Flutter Brazil Commercial function, Insights & Analytics plays a key role in driving performance across the Sportsbook & Casino. Reporting to the Head of Analytics & Insights, the Analyst will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decisions and enhance Sportsbook & Casino performance.
What you’ll do
Organise and analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to Sportsbook and Casino performance.
Use storytelling techniques to present data in an engaging and accessible manner, enabling stakeholders to easily grasp trends, patterns, and strategic implications.
Create interactive and user‑friendly Databricks dashboards that set the benchmark for excellence, meet the needs of the Commercial team, and provide actionable insights for Sports, Casino, and other stakeholders.
Work closely with the Sportsbook team, Casino team, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into visualisations and dashboards.
Support the development of smarter and more automated reports and models to keep pace with a competitive and evolving industry.
Ensure compliance with departmental data governance policies and best practices.
What you’ll bring
You bring strong analytical capability and a structured approach to turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for Sportsbook and Casino performance. You’re skilled in SQL and data storytelling, comfortable building high‑quality dashboards (Databricks/Tableau), and able to communicate technical topics with clarity to non‑technical stakeholders. You thrive in fast‑moving environments where data accuracy, automation, and measurable commercial impact guide priorities.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex datasets, identify key insights, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Experience with relational databases and SQL (highly desirable).
Experience in data storytelling (highly desirable).
Advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Databricks dashboards (or similar BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI) is an advantage.
Experience using Python or R is an advantage.
Strong problem‑solving skill set.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Advanced/Fluent English is required (mandatory).
Preferred academic background: mathematics, physics, or statistics.
