Job Summary:
As a senior data analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business data and transforming it into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization.
You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, extract and analyze complex data from various platforms, and create informative reports that support data-driven decision-making. Your analytical skills, paired with your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, will enable you to provide valuable insights that inform business strategies and optimize operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect and extract data from SQL databases using advanced queries and data modeling.
* Utilize data analysis techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
* Develop reports to provide valuable insights to stakeholders that support data-driven decision-making.
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and identify business needs and document reporting requirements.
* Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to anticipate future trends and outcomes, helping in strategic planning.
* Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting by validating data integrity.
* Maintain documentation of reports, queries, and data processes.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong analytical mindset, excellent data manipulation skills, and a passion for transforming data into actionable business intelligence. You should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field, as well as 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role. Additionally, you should be proficient in SQL and advanced SQL queries, familiar with data modeling concepts, and skilled in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker. Python programming skills are a plus.
