Job Description:
A Toronto-based agency is seeking an intermediate Full-stack developer to join their global technology group. The agency is at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity to provide clients with high-performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. They have decades of experience in various sectors including automotive, financial, telco, and retail.
We are looking for a skilled developer who can design and develop user interfaces (UIs), create responsive and interactive web pages, optimize website performance, write server-side code, develop APIs, manage databases, test, troubleshoot, and debug issues. The ideal candidate will have a holistic view of how the front-end and back-end work together, be proficient in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, have a strong understanding of clean code principles, and be able to rapidly pick up new concepts and technologies. They will also have experience with modern frameworks and languages, such as React and NodeJS, and be familiar with working with different CMS integrations and building out clean content structures.
Required Skills:
● 3+ years of working knowledge with modern frameworks and languages
● Comfortable in the command line
● Experience with GraphQL and Apollo
● Ability to build a prototype and take it to production
● Demonstrate experience from at least one large scale project
● Motivation to learn and be on the forefront of current technology standards and practices
● Rapidly pick up new concepts and technologies
