Job Description
Samsung is looking for a proactive, detailed-oriented candidate with a great sense of ownership to join our team located in São Paulo.
Treasury Specialist will provide support in supervising and overseeing treasury operations of Latin America subsidiaries. The special part of this position is that this role will be very dynamic. Some examples of activities that the candidate would be involved would be cash, FX, credit, and Treasury risk management, economic/political risk factors and forecast analysis, and consumer installment payment solution management. The position requires fluency in English and knowledge of Spanish is a huge plus as the candidate will liaise with banking partners and subsidiaries including those of Spanish speaking countries on various treasury matters described above.
Key Job Responsabilities
* Cash Liquidity Management across Latin America region
* Negotiation of investment rates, borrowing spreads, financial contracts, and cash management fees with banking partners
* Supervision and execution of subsidiaries’ NDF and foreign exchange transactions via Bloomberg (Spot/Hedging)
* Supervision of international payments for Brazilian subsidiary
* Analyze FX gains/losses and FX hedge efficiencies across LATAM region
* Economic/political analysis and reporting of Latin America political, and macroeconomic drivers impacting Treasury and overall business of the company
* Monitor and manage trade credit limits of customers and seek open risk hedging solutions for customers lacking credit limits across LATAM region
* Closely work with subsidiaries and financial institutions across LATAM region in implementing consumer installment payment solutions, offering innovative payment solutions to Company’s final consumers
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
* Experience: Experience in treasury related field or prior banking experience.
* System: Prior experience with Bloomberg and SAP are strong plus.
* Hard Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
* Language Skills: Advanced English is a must. Spanish is a strong plus.
