Patent Project Manager
As a Patent Project Manager, you will oversee and manage patent filing requests. You will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
This role involves coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
Key responsibilities include preparing documents required for EP, PCT, and foreign applications, proactively initiating responses to official communications and notifications, coordinating filings, and monitoring assigned cases.
A successful candidate should have 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting, experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications, strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities, and significant experience managing complex projects.
Essential skills include excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include strong experience implementing translation tools, comfort working with CAT tools and Machine Translation engines, ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance, and skilled at training internal and external users.
