We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist to drive growth across LATAM by selling nutraceutical ingredients to the dietary supplement and functional food & beverage industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow key accounts across LATAM, leveraging strong relationships and strategic planning to achieve sales targets
* Develop and execute country- and segment-level territory plans, aligning with market trends and competitor activity
* Present nutraceutical ingredients to customers, showcasing their benefits and applications
* Collaborate with technical, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity, making informed decisions to stay ahead in the market
* Meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets, demonstrating exceptional sales skills and industry knowledge
* Represent the company at regional trade shows and conferences, fostering business relationships and promoting products
Requirements:
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience in nutraceutical ingredients within LATAM, with a proven track record of success
* Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients and their applications, including current market trends and competitor activity
* Proven ability to prospect, build pipelines, negotiate, and close across multiple countries, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Language: Fluent Portuguese and strong Spanish; English is a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages
* Self-starter comfortable working remotely, with strong organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (ZOHO preferred), with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
