Design Experience Lead
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the design experience for three core products.
* You will define and execute design strategies that drive user engagement and satisfaction.
* Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
* Establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library.
About the Role
This full-time position involves designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces. You will be responsible for conducting and managing full research processes, from planning and scheduling to execution and synthesis.
Your Responsibilities
* Define and lead the design experiences across three core products.
* Conduct usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and information to vet and refine designs.
* Help establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library.
* Contribute to the overall brand experience by creating and maintaining brand and marketing materials.
What We're Looking For
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Strong proficiency with Figma, with the ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
* A strong portfolio with concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces.
* Experience designing for similar users preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals).

This role involves working as a contractor with flexible hours. You will be expected to attend regular meetings and collaborate with the team during general daytime hours. The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion for collaboration.
The interview process includes an asynchronous portfolio review, a small project, and one or two follow-up interviews with the founder and/or Head of Engineering.
