Job Title: Business Developer for Social Media
We are seeking a skilled Business Developer to drive growth and partnerships in the social media landscape.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. A strong understanding of the creator economy and social media content monetization is essential.
A genuine interest in digital content and the evolution of social platforms is required. The ability to craft compelling commercial offers and proposals is necessary.
About the Role:
* Identify high-revenue potential YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat channels aligned with our business goals.
* Engage with content creators and/or channel owners to assess the value and potential of their channels.
* Develop and present commercial proposals to creators and channel owners.
* Onboard new partners (creators or channel owners) into our operational processes.
* Explore and analyze new opportunities across social platforms to accelerate company growth.
* Collaborate closely with platform managers, the data/strategy team, and executives to align business opportunities with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
2. Foster strong relationships with content creators and channel owners to identify new opportunities.
3. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
4. Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success.
5. Present regular progress updates and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or M&A related to digital media or entertainment.
* Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.
* Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
* A strong understanding of the creator economy and social media content monetization.
* A genuine interest in digital content and the evolution of social platforms.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong project management skills.
