You’ll share knowledge, create inspiring resources, and empower developers to get the most out of Zyte’s products—particularly the Zyte API and Scrapy.This role combines hands-on technical work with community engagement. You’ll write code samples, produce educational content, speak at events, and collaborate with developers worldwide. At the same time, you’ll represent the voice of the developer community within Zyte, helping to shape our roadmap and ensuring our tools solve real-world challenges.ResponsibilitiesCreate and share high-quality content (articles, videos, webinars, sample code) that showcases how to use Zyte’s tools.Engage with developers across social platforms, forums, and communities, helping them solve web scraping and data extraction challenges.Deliver talks, demos, and workshops at industry and developer-focused events.Write blog posts for Zyte and external platforms.Identify and support community advocates and leaders who are passionate about web data.Provide feedback from the community to internal teams, influencing product and documentation improvements.Contribute to improving and expanding Zyte’s developer documentation.Regularly post technical and community-focused content on Zyte’s developer channels.Qualifications3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, technical evangelism, or a related role.Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.Proficiency in Python.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).Demonstrated experience in community engagement, content creation, or technical writing.Experience with public speaking or delivering technical presentations.Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Nice to HaveExperience with Scrapy, headless browsers, or other web scraping tools.Background in community building, event hosting, or developer programs.What you’ll get as a Zyte team memberA fully remote role with the flexibility to work where you’re most productive.The opportunity to collaborate with a diverse, global, and forward-thinking team.35 days of paid annual leave.Opportunities to attend conferences and meet with colleagues worldwide.The chance to work with cutting-edge open-source technologies and tools.
