Responsibilities and Duties
Main Responsibilities
1. Planning and Conducting Maker Activities:
o Plan and teach maker classes exploring topics like science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) through practical and playful activities.
o Develop interdisciplinary projects connecting the school curriculum with maker culture practices.
2. Use of Tools and Resources:
o Create experiences using various materials such as cardboard, wood, scrap, simple electrical circuits, among others.
o Introduce children to basic technologies like educational robotics, simple programming (e.g., Scratch Jr.), and devices like tablets or assembly kits.
3. Supporting Child Development:
o Encourage curiosity and the desire to explore new tools and concepts.
o Work on socio-emotional skills like cooperation, resilience, and creativity through group activities and collaborative projects.
4. Safety and Inclusion:
o Ensure the safe use of materials and tools, always supervising children's activities.
o Adapt projects to meet individual needs and contexts, promoting inclusion and engagement for all students.
5. Collaboration and Continuous Development:
o Participate in pedagogical meetings and contribute to integrating the maker method with other disciplines such as Arts, Sciences, Mathematics, and English.
o Stay updated with new tools and maker methodologies by attending training and workshops as needed.
6. Maintaining the Maker Space:
o Organize the maker space and its materials, ensuring they are available and in good condition for activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Arts, Sciences (Biological, Physics, or Mathematics), Engineering, Pedagogy, or related areas.
* Additional training in Maker Culture, STEAM, Educational Robotics, or Active Methodologies is a plus.

* Contract Type: CLT (44 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
* Work Location: Asa Norte
