Could you be the full-time Buyer in Taubaté we’re looking for? Your future role You’ll play a key role in supporting and managing supplier relationships while driving commodity strategies to ensure seamless operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, engineering, and procurement), coordinate supplier performance, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of supplier panel relationships and commodity support on-site, but also ensure effective involvement in projects. We’ll look to you for: - Supporting global supplier panel relationships - Managing specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiation and monitoring supplier QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technology) performance - Monitoring day-to-day supplier performance and resolving issues before escalation - Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s code of ethics and guidelines - Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy development - Representing commodities in projects, platforms, and solutions - Coordinating project activities with all stakeholders - Leading project negotiations and monitoring sourcing project QCDT and legal evolution - Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with suppliers - Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
