Creative Strategist Role
We are a fast-growing consumer brand group selling across e-commerce, TikTok Shop, and Amazon. Our team prioritizes direct-response strategy, product quality, and measurable efficacy.
The Creative Strategist will own both strategy and operations: building and briefing angles, scripting iterations, managing sprints, reviewing edits, and ensuring we ship 100–200 ads per week.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop a creative strategy by offer, funnel, and awareness stage; publish weekly test plans.
* Generate net-new DR angles from learnings, competitor swipes, and cultural trends.
* Outline 2–3 minute VSL-style ads (problem, agitation, solution, proof, CTA) and collaborate with copy on scripting.
* Brief content creators with DR talking tracks, shot lists, compliance guardrails, and demo guidelines.
* Lead reviews to ensure DR structure, pacing, and storytelling are dialed in.
* Translate performance data (Hook, Hold, CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) into new test briefs within 1–3 days.
Creative Operations & Delivery:
* Owning weekly sprints: intake → brief → production → QA → launch → iteration.
* Plan and ship 100–200 ads weekly (mix of new and iterations).
* Traffic assets correctly: naming, specs (9:16 / 4:5 / 1:1), captions, UTMs.
* QA assets for typos, compliance, pacing, audio, and render quality.
* Review editor work with time-stamped, DR-specific notes (cut logic, proof beats, motion/graphics, sound).
* Maintain a clean, searchable DAM with version control.
* Coordinate with Media/Growth to ensure launches hit deadlines.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in direct response creative strategy, ideally in high-spend environments ($1MM+/mo).
* Deep experience with VSL-style ads: structure, beats, proof, pacing, CTA flow.
* Proven ability to ship 100–200 ads weekly across VSLs, short-form, and UGC.
* Strong post-production literacy (Premiere/Final Cut/AE basics) for precise DR feedback.
* Data-driven mindset; you live in Hook/Hold/CTR/CPC/CPA/ROAS.
* Detail-oriented; errors don't slip past you.
* Clear communicator who pushes creative toward DR performance.
