Our Controller will be working at the Wind Division of the group BR with an operation based in Eusébio/Ceará. The company will not cover relocation costs; the position is primarily for candidates who live close to Fortaleza’s Metropolitan area.
Role description: This role leads proactive financial management, accounting and finance oversight, budgeting and forecasting, and ensures compliance with local and international standards (including IFRS/IFRS for SMEs). It also covers internal controls, financial planning, consolidated reporting, and audit support in a global footprint environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle supplier/customer finance, credit analysis, negotiations, and payments.
Oversee reconciliations, controls, and consolidated GAAP/IFRS reporting; monthly/year-end close.
FP&A, budgeting, cash flow; monitor collections.
Tax compliance/planning (SPED, ECD/ECF, SPED Contábil) and transfer pricing.
Produce management reports; support audits; ensure risk controls.
Qualifications
Degree in accounting (MBA preferred); global company experience.
English fluent: able to operate in a multicultural & global environment.
Deep IFRS/IFRS for SMEs, GAAP, and ITG disclosures; strong CPCs expertise (assets, financial instruments).
Solid knowledge of Brazilian Chart of Accounts, corporate law, and compliance.
Expert in Brazilian taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IPI, ITR) across regimes; SPED (Fiscal/Contábil), ECD/ECF; transfer pricing and incentives.
Experience with financial reporting/ERP (Oracle Hyperion, SAP Analytics, Planful, NetSuite; Navision/BC a plus).
Data analytics/BI skills (advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau); proficient in MS Office; familiarity with group reporting tools (OCRA, Hyperion, AARO a plus).
