OverviewOur client is looking for a Software QA Engineer with a strong background in testing GoLang and Python, proficiency in Jira, and a deep understanding of the Learning Applications ecosystem (built on REST and Microservices in GoLang/Python). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of Microservices applications and a seamless user experience. This role supports remote work options.ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GoLang and Python applications.Functional, integration, and regression testing across solutions and custom applications.Ensure that user stories and requirements are properly translated into testable items.Defect Tracking & Reporting: Use Jira for defect tracking and management, ensuring defects are properly logged, tracked, and closed.Collaborate with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues found during testing.Automation: Identify opportunities for automating repetitive test cases and maintain automated test scripts to align with new features and enhancements.Collaboration & Communication: Work with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and ensure QA processes align with project timelines. Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate issues when necessary.Quality Assurance Strategy: Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools; assist in developing and maintaining testing standards, guidelines, and best practices for the QA team.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on custom solutions and microservices.Experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of the Golang or Python stacks, including configuration, workflows, permissions, and user roles.Proficiency in Jira for defect tracking and project management.Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools is a plus.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Additional InformationA vaga aceita trabalho remoto?
