As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.
This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive production support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production Support: Provide comprehensive production support for our applications, ensuring their reliability and performance.
* Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application functionality.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and global support teams, to address and resolve issues.
Must-Have Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial.
* 3+ years of related production support experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with global teams.
* Experience with basic scripting tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Docker, etc.
* Growth mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced proficiency in DevOps, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
* Business knowledge of securities, fund accounting, collateral, and tri-party repo preferred but not required.
* Experience in platform engineering, cloud, virtual environments, MQ, database management, network, ITIL, and service management.
