About the Role
This role is responsible for providing technical support and after-sales services to customers in Brazil. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance via phone, email, or face-to-face interactions;
* Develop and deliver training programs for partners to enhance their technical capabilities;
* Solve complex technical issues escalated by customers;
* Offer expert advice to local distributors, installers, and end-users on product usage and troubleshooting;
* Conduct on-site inspections, commissioning, and replacement of defective products with prior customer appointment;
* Track inventory levels and manage replacements as needed;
* Perform firmware upgrades and minor hardware reworks when necessary;
* Maintain regular communication with management staff in Brazil and collaborate with Level 2 engineers based in China;
* Promote products and solutions at exhibitions and marketing events;
* Submit weekly reports and documentation to supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Intermediate English proficiency for speaking and writing;
* Tech degree in electricity, photovoltaics, renewable energy, or equivalent field;
* Advanced knowledge of PV inverters (on-grid and storage);
* At least one year of experience working with PV inverters;
* Experience with Distributed Generation;
* Familiarity with Brazilian regulations on PV;
* Basic knowledge in electrical circuit sizing, PV arrangement, protection circuits, and electrical diagram interpretation;
* MS Office proficiency.
Optional Skills:
* Spanish language proficiency;
* Experience with large-scale utility PV projects;
* Knowledge of lead-acid and lithium batteries for PV storage systems;
* Zendesk and NeoCRM experience.
