The ideal candidate brings a strong integration mindset, hands-on ESBexperience, and working knowledge of cloud platforms, automation, and moderndevelopment practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-ready and hybrid integration solutions using IBM AppConnect / ACE.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and asynchronous integrationsaligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Implement modern integration patterns including API-led connectivity, eventstreaming, pub/sub, and request–reply.
- Develop integrations that are secure, scalable, resilient, and observable in cloud andhybrid environments.
- Work closely with architects to evolve integration standards and support cloudadoption and modernization initiatives.
- Integrate enterprise systems using messaging, APIs, file transfer, and streamingtechnologies.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-awareintegration design.
- Support non-functional requirements including performance, high availability,disaster recovery, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, DevOps, Security, QA, Product, andBusiness).
- Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement ofintegration platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and promote best practices across the integrationcommunity.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and adoption of integration bestpractices across the organization.Core Skills & Experience (Required)
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBMIntegration Bus (IIB).
- Proven expertise in:o ESQL, DFDLo REST & SOAP APIso JSON, XML, XSLTo IBM MQ, JMS, HTTP/S
- Deep understanding of enterprise and cloud integration patterns.
- Experience designing integrations for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms i.E. AWS
- Experience building or consuming cloud-native services and APIs.
- Programming experience in Java, including scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.Nice to Have / Desirable Skills
- IIB / ACE certifications.
- Experience with MuleSoft or ETL or data integration tools (e.G., Informatica).
- Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
