Position OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Field Camera Operator with professional experience in the film or television industry to join our production team. This role requires technical proficiency, creative vision, and the ability to operate cameras independently or as part of a crew in various field environments—including interviews, documentary shoots, branded content, and commercial productions.The ideal candidate is confident operating cinema-grade camera systems on location and understands how to adapt to different lighting, movement, and shooting conditions while staying true to the director’s vision.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate camera systems on-location during shoots for interviews, b-roll, commercial spots, and documentary projectsCollaborate with directors, producers, and crew to frame, compose, and execute visually compelling shotsSet up and adjust cameras, lenses, filters, tripods, gimbals, and other stabilization toolsSupport on-set lighting adjustments and exposure settings for natural or controlled environmentsMonitor footage quality, focus, and continuity during filmingEnsure accurate shot execution based on storyboards, scripts, or real-time directionCapture supplemental footage, behind-the-scenes content, or environmental shots as neededAssist with loading, unloading, and organizing camera equipment and accessoriesMaintain and clean camera gear, ensuring all equipment is shoot-readyTroubleshoot technical issues on set under real-world conditionsQualifications3+ years of experience as a camera operator, videographer, or cinematographer in the film/TV industryProficient with industry-standard cameras (e.g., RED, ARRI, Sony FS/FX series, Canon C-series, Blackmagic)Strong understanding of composition, camera movement, and exposureExperience with field production logistics and working in varied lighting conditionsFamiliarity with wireless monitoring systems, external audio sync, and file offloadingAbility to work independently or within a small crew in fast-paced environmentsReliable, self-motivated, and solution-oriented under pressureMust have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for regional productionsBonus: Drone operation experience, lighting or audio knowledge, or FAA Part 107 certification
