Your role and responsibilities As a Customer Success Manager for zModernization, you will drive use cases, deployment, and value realization for IBM's zSoftware products. This role involves supporting adoption and motivating client usage, leading to upsell opportunities and renewal conversations. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Manage Client Adoption: Drive the adoption of zModernization products, including watsonx Code Assistant for Z, zSystems Security, and Z Open Automation Utilities, among others, to ensure successful deployment and value realization for clients. - Lead Upsell Opportunities: Identify and pursue upsell opportunities through regular client engagement, usage analysis, and needs assessments to drive business growth and renewal conversations. - Deliver Solution Value: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions using IBM's zSoftware products, ensuring seamless integration and optimal usage. - Foster Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met, and provide ongoing support to drive long-term success and loyalty. - Monitor Progress: Track and analyze client progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize product usage and value realization. Required technical and professional expertise - zModernization Product Knowledge: Experience with IBM's zSoftware products, including watsonx Code Assistant for Z, zSystems Security, and Z Open Automation Utilities, among others, to drive adoption and value realization for clients. - Technical Solution Delivery: Experience in delivering tailored solutions using IBM's zSoftware products, ensuring seamless integration and optimal usage to meet client business needs. - Client Engagement and Analysis: Experience with regular client engagement, usage analysis, and needs assessments to identify and pursue upsell opportunities and drive business growth. - zSoftware Deployment and Management: Experience in managing the deployment of zModernization products to ensure successful adoption and value realization for clients. - IT Solution Integration: Experience with integrating IBM's zSoftware products with existing client systems to deliver optimal solutions and drive business outcomes. Preferred technical and professional experience - zModernization Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with adjacent technologies and products in the zModernization ecosystem, including webMethods ApplinX, Red Hat Ansible Certified Content for IBM Z, and Zowe, to drive comprehensive solutions for clients. - Cross-Platform Integration: Experience with integrating zModernization products with other IBM offerings, such as Cloud Infrastructure Center and Threat Detection for z/OS, to deliver holistic solutions and drive business outcomes. - Emerging Technology Awareness: Experience with emerging technologies and trends in the zModernization space, including zAI Tools and Hyper Protect Virtual Servers - Private Cloud, to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
