Senior SAP Project Manager Role
The Senior SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of SAP Application Management Services across multiple modules and business areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day SAP AMS operations, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
* Oversee delivery of SAP enhancements, small projects, and rollouts within agreed timelines.
* Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and service quality targets are consistently achieved.
Collaboration with Teams
* Coordinate with SAP Basis, Functional, and Technical teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
Stakeholder & Client Management
* Act as the primary contact for clients regarding SAP AMS delivery.
* Facilitate regular status, governance, and steering committee meetings.
Team Coordination & Vendor Partnership
* Manage onshore/offshore AMS delivery teams across SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
* Allocate resources and track performance of functional and technical consultants.
Governance, Reporting & Financial Performance
* Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly service performance reports.
* Track AMS budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Recommend SAP process improvements and automation opportunities.
* Support migration, upgrades, or transition projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in SAP project/AMS management.
