Senior Product Owner Job Description

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for owning the product end-to-end, from conception to delivery and post-launch. This involves daily communication with developers and stakeholders, prioritizing backlog items, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring quality.
You will plan OKRs and roadmaps, break initiatives into epics and stories, and manage timelines and quality. You will also enforce Definition of Ready/Done and maintain Confluence specs/decisions up to date. Additionally, you will perform exploratory testing, reproduce issues, triage, and file actionable bug cards. Finally, you will track activation/engagement/retention, run A/B experiments, and prioritize UX/performance/stability improvements.
To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership/Product Management (senior) with a track record of shipping and iterating successfully. You must also be fluent in English, capable of leading daily standups in English, writing specs, and aligning requirements with international stakeholders. Software development experience or equivalent technical background is required.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, drive alignment, clarify scope, and ensure follow-through to delivery.
* Manage the backlog, own the delivery process, and collaborate with teams to achieve goals.
* Apply Jira and Confluence discipline to ensure accuracy and productivity.
Must-Haves:
* 5+ years in Product Ownership/Product Management (senior) with a track record of shipping and iterating successfully.

* Software development experience (prior engineering role strongly preferred) or equivalent technical background — comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, data models, and reading code at a high level.
