Our São Paulo office is located in the heart of the city, a region full of cultural spaces and history. The office houses several different teams, from Operations to Technology. We have an auditorium where we can host presentations, lectures and fun activities!
The role
We are looking for a BI Analyst to join the Analytics Hub team. The Analytics Hub acts as a centre of excellence for all Analytics and BI teams across the Farfetch Group by providing a unified reporting and analytics environment through the right tools, knowledge and training.
WHAT YOU´LL DO
- Become an expert for our BI technologies: Looker, DBT, BigQuery, Looker Studio and Tableau
- Become an admin for Looker; managing the setup and supporting users in accessing and deriving value from them
- Provide support optimising the performance of reporting solutions including optimisation of LookML and SQL code
- Develop automated processes using the Looker API, python and Airflow to help manage our Looker instances
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders from across the organisation to provide best practices, training and support the delivery of key projects
- Develop automated reporting and dashboard solutions, presenting insights in an actionable and visually impactful way
- Keep up to date with advances in Business Intelligence technology and actively share knowledge within the Analytics Hub and wider Analytics and BI Developer Communities
WHO YOU ARE
- Have a good grasp of SQL knowledge preferably with experience of optimising query performance
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrably high standard for data accuracy and documentation
- Experience of analysing and manipulating data large data sets in a professional setting
- Experience of data visualisation with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Confident communicator comfortable with communicating to stakeholders with varying technical abilities and in different settings; eliciting requirements, delivering training, collaborating with stakeholders
- Experience working with modern Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
