Automotive UX Research Lead
We are seeking a bilingual project management professional with a solid technical toolkit and on-the-ground research experience to lead an automotive UX study in Brazil.
* Orchestrate day-to-day study operations, assist in moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, and provide light device/IT support.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management & Coordination: Build and own the project plan, working closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead.
* Field & Research Execution: Moderate ~2 weeks of in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
* Technical & Logistics Support: Prep, track, and recover equipment used to execute study, troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues.
Requirements:
* Residence/work authorization in the greater São Paulo area, legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Brazil.
* Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware/connectivity issues, basic spreadsheets skills.
* Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior team management or project coordination experience.
